I watched American Beauty for the first time ever a couple nights ago.

Kevin Spacey is the ****in man lol. That movie in some scenes was surprisingly funny.

That's one of my favorites. Kevin Spacey is a wonderful actor.

I know I'm about 15 years behind the times, but I just watched Rounders for the first time. What an enjoyable flick! And while Damon, Norton, and Moll were all good, the standout for me was John Malkovich.

PAY HEEM. PAY DAT MYAN HIS MYONEY.

I can't watch that film on a diet. It always makes me crave Oreos.

Grown Ups 2 is criminally underrated

Now You See Me might be the worst movie I've watched in 2013. Wow.

The Internship was your typical Vince Vaughn/Owen Wilson flick. Funny at times, overdone the rest of the time. The gal OW gets with is smoking hot.

The Conjuring was pretty good too. I thought it could have been more scary.

Just watched the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film from 1990. Man, that was my childhood right there..

Watched a 2007 movie with Scarlett Johannsen called the Island. Watched it twice.

As funny as those parts were the interview part in the library was just as bad.

I'm batting .000 right now when it comes to movies. Saw We Are The Millers. Didn't laugh once.

I was overwhelmed with how good The Descendants was.

I need time to ruminate, but it seemed more than a good movie, edging into an era defining classic.

I won't spoil it here, might make a separate thread at some point with my thoughts, but it really put a nuanced and original touch on an aspect of our culture that's really hot right now without preaching or even taking a stand. Just presenting a story that is very moving.
