Kurt Sutter has always planned on a seven season arc. IMO, I think he's done a great job of NOT stretching things too thin, or giving in to the popularity of the show and trying to stretch, like HIMYM did.

Just my opinion, but they dragged the Clay thing out far too long

But like I mentioned, it's just the nature of episodic tv to drag things out.

Cant wait.

Do you mean 1 1/2? If not then there is an hour that i'm missing.

The other hour was a Q&A session with the actors who play Jax and Otto. Did anyone realize that the guy who plays Otto is the creator and producer of the show?

Yeah, Kurt Sutter. You're a little behind on that one ;)

My tv guide was showing 9 - 11:30 but the episode ended at like 10:45 and then they went onto the talk show.

Anyway, looks like Jax has decided to forget going legit and embrace the dark side... this is not going to end well.

By the end of the season the Sons will basically be wiped out I'd guess, Sutter isnt going to end the show with a message of "violent outlawry pays".

OK, getting caught up now, but I have a question about one of the new characters for those that watched last night.

Spoiler!

I agree, but the friction between jax and clay was hard for the writers to let go of, I'm sure. Would've liked to see it happen a season earlier, but I really liked the way it eventually happened.

My prediction is everyone but Gemma and the boys dies, leaving everyone traumatized and pissed off. Sutter just seems to be that type of a guy to me.

Not a bad guess at all, but I'm thinking Gemma somehow goes down for her sins, leaving a reformed Wendy left to care for her real son and adopted son.

The kids wont be left in Charming, I'm sure of that much, Sutter will get them outta there.

But one thing we'll agree on is that there isn't going to be some Hollywood ending with this, much of it will be left in the lurch, leaving everyone to guess at it, like the Sopranos.

Yup, that's why Gemma will go down, she has to pay for her sins.

The weirdo gay stuff is just another day in some big, west coast city... he was only keeping it real with that IMO.

kcchiefsus 09-11-2014 02:00 AM

I don't know Hamlet all that well but since Sons of Anarchy is loosely based on it I wonder if Hamlet can help us predict any final outcome? Probably not, just thinking out loud.

Carry on...

Well, he couldnt go with the gay priest molesting boys, so they just did some weird ass 3some. lol

Sutter always brings in gay, bisexual and even transexual stuff on the show. He also flirted with having Tig banging Gemma, he never quite went there though.
