I'd pick him up.... if we are planning on getting into a brawl.

Wow! That's pretty awesome. Actually, they ain't seen nothing yet. Wait and see if this team is still in the race when we play Cleveland the week of 9-16. Those ratings (if we are in it) could be amazing.

LMAO I love him. He called his shot at the ASB and is backing it the hell up.

Hopefully...only game so far I've been to he got rocked...going tonight.

If we lose it's on you. I hope you're ready to carry that with you forever.

Per MLB.com, last night's win also gave the Royals the lead in the all time series match up. It stands at 121-120.

It's 221-220.

Also Detroit picked up 25 games on us the past 8 years to pull within TWO games all time of us 295-293. (We are 5-3 vs them this year so far so we're up FOUR now but they look pretty decent lately so I'm sure we might have a tough matchup on our hands)

Hope to exit the year with a winning mark vs Detroit.

Baseball vs football record wise. See what you think.

Most wins in a 162 game season... 116

Least wins in a 162 game season... 43

116 - 43 = 73

73 / 16 = 4.5

Baseball wins first = Football record

43 = 0 - 16
47.5 = 1 - 15
54 = 2 - 14
58.5 = 3 - 13
63 = 4 - 12
67.5 = 5 - 11
72 = 6 - 10
76.5 = 7 - 9
81 = 8 - 8
85.5 = 9 - 7
90 = 10 - 6
94.5 = 11 - 5
99 = 12 - 4
103.5 = 13 - 3
108 = 14 - 2
112.5 = 15 - 1
116 = 16 - 0

Seems pretty close in the fact that if the Royals win 90 games they will probably be right on the playoff boarder line... just as the Chiefs might be if we get to 10 - 6. Both records should get us in, but you never know for sure.

Well, it makes sense to me. But I've got a buzz going, so math isn't my strong suit at the moment.

Go make some bad decisions and report back to us.

This just goes to show how good the Royals of the seventies and eighties really were. As bad as the teams of the past twenty years have been, it is still taking other franchises all of that time to try and catch up.

Change on those calls in NY where scorer ruled errors on 2 balls lost in sun. Joe Torre reverses, Cain @ Gordon given hits

Kill yourself.

Yordano went 6 innings, 4 hits, 1 BB and 9 Ks. Nice.

Archie F. Swin 08-09-2013 08:53 PM

Are there any legit SPs GMDM could snag over the next few days?

Somebody claimed Lohse, and a trade couldn't be made so Brewers pulled him back. No word on what team claimed him. I'm guessing he was too rich for Royal's blood, but who knows.
