Depends how they view Alex.

Itd be stocking QBs at a position we were dead last in. Geno isnt ready. Let him sit while Alex plays and Daniel backs him up

Alex hasnt received an extension. Doesnt that say something? We would have heard if he was getting one. Usually that gets worked out.

I'm curious, what metrics are you using to gauge Stanzi?

The fact that in his Rookie year, when he didn't even get a full camp and OTA's to work with due to the CBA, that he was our best Pre-season QB?

Or the fact that the very next year we didn't even attempt to give the kid a shot and he faced a jailbreak at every snap in pre-season?

Or were you judging his skill based on his collective number of snaps, zero.

Stanzi will be on the roster this year, bank on it.

Thats the NFL. Shit happens.

He won't make the roster.

Why would the chiefs do this? Let him earn it first. Chiefs got 2 years to work something out.

Watched him in preseason. He looked awful and was shit in training camp last year. There's a reason he didnt play even with the shit hole QB position we had

No offense, but you are just as clueless as the rest of us when it comes to knowing the plans of Reid and Dorsey; it's every bit as silly for you to guarantee that we won't draft him as it is for some others to guarantee that we will.

I'm interested to see what happens, personally. More and more, it's looking like we'll be stuck at 1.1 and there isn't a player that is obviously worth the draft slot. The fact that Geno is being brought in for two days near the end of the whole evaluation process leads me to believe that they are considering taking him if he can impress them enough.

Alex did say there was no talk of a extension when he signed but said he wants to earn that extension.

It won't happen, but as a reversal to the meltdown that would happen if the Chiefs didn't take Geno, it would be fun to see ChiefsandO's meltdown if we did take him.

You trade that high and that many of picks. You sign your QB and make him feel safe

They wouldn't spend two of their top picks in 2013/2014 on a guy they didn't have a decent view on.............get real dude.

Possible, but unlikely. You don't give away 2 of your top picks in 2 drafts, just to draft a QB for the future at #1. in the same draft you traded out of your #2 for QB.

It says, hey, we like the contract, stick with it, you've got a few years on it still, consider this your trial run. If he doesn't perform by the end of his contract, which I believe is 2 more seasons remaining, then you let him go. No big deal.

Yeah, the second Romeo was about to start Stanzi in '11, Pioli went and got Orton and made him the starter. :thumb:

And Blackmon. He said if we choose Geno he will leave.

O.city 03-31-2013 09:33 PM

Why would you keep Stanzi? This front office didn't draft him, he was a third stringer who has been awful so far and not shown anything.
