For the love of God, PM a brother when his turn is up! The Patriots are on the clock for the first time since the third round and are looking for depth.

The New England Patriots select Brandan Bishop, S, N.C. State.

The San Fransisco 49ers select Rodney Smith, WR, Florida State

A big bodied receiver who is also an extremely fluid athlete. I am ecstatic to see him still on the Board.

Washington Redskins select:

Zeke Motta, S, Notre Dame

The Minnesota Vikings conclude their winning of the annual CP Mock by selecting T.J. Moe, WR, MIZZOU.

Sfeihc 04-06-2013 11:47 PM

The Minnesota Vikings were able to address their needs with the BPA very often in this draft resulting in complete ownage this mock. Extra picks allowed them to take some chances later in the draft on players like Smith, Simon and Moe.

1) Xavier Rhodes, CB, FSU
1) Jon Hankins, DT, OSU
2) Jon Cyprein, SS, Florida Int.
3) Aaron Dobson, WR, Marshall
4) Kiko Alonso, ILB, Oregon
4) Brian Winters, G, Kent St.
5) Quanterus Smith, DE, WKU
6) Tharold Simon, CB, LSU
7) Everett Dawkins, DT, FSU
7) T.J. Moe, WR, MIZZOU

The Colts select Dennis Johnson, RB from Arkansas.

Direckshun 04-07-2013 06:48 AM

The Colts still have Mr. Irrelevent to go. But the Panthers are done.

Neither team had a lot of picks, so my approach was to take the best shot I could whenever the Panthers had a pick.

1. DT Sheldon Richardson, Missouri
2. DT Kawann Short, Purdue
4. FS Shamarko Thomas, Syracuse
5. OG J.C. Tretter, Cornell
6. WR Marcus Davis, Virginia Tech

Yeesh. That's it.

That won't make the team tons better, but it's going to solidify what was easily the weakest part of the Panthers team, their defensive line. And it's going to make some investments at the secondary and OL with high upside players.

Well, the Jets are done.
1. OLB Barkevious Mingo, LSU
2. QB, Ryan Nassib Syracuse
3. WR Quinton Patton LA Tech
4. TE Travis Kelce, Cincinnati
5. OLB Trevardo Williams, UConn
6. RB Zac Stacy, Vanderbilt
7. CB Nickell Roby, USC

Wasn't able to address the safety position as I'd originally hoped. Was really surprised Patton fell that far.

That is a very nice draft for the Jets. Very nice. In fact, they should probably just hire you for their GM. I wouldn't take that position though. It's a total poison pill of a job.

Well this thing really hit a snag. We going to try to finish before the draft or just say the **** with it?

I have one pick to go. Waiting on Pest.

Yeah, the 7th round isn't exactly glamorous or as much fun as the early rounds, but it seems pointless to do all this work and then not finish it off. We've completed the mock every single year.

****.....I was away for most of the weekend and it slipped my mind. I'll get my pick in about 5 minutes. Sorry guys.

The Franchise 04-07-2013 08:51 PM

Oh and Direckshun never PMd me.
