Updated.

If you wanted your name on the list but don't see it, it's likely because I found your enthusiasm lacking.

Remember, this thread's about Smith. If you say, "I like Smith, but I just want a QB period" that's not good enough. I may as well post a link to the Chiefs Planet member list and put in a disclaimer to cross out BlackBob if that's good enough.

If you still want on the list, post again. Tell us all why Geno Smith makes you feel all kinds of warm and fuzzy.

Yeah i'll be on the bandwagon...that said i bet we pick in the 12-15 range and he is long gone

We'll pick 32.

After we trade our pick to NE for whatever trash they fool Pioli into taking.

Ebolapox 09-24-2012 09:43 PM

alright. Geno smith is the QB I want. I only hesitate to claim undying love because I also had undying love for byron leftwich, joey harrington, rick mirer, david klingler, jimmy clausen and mark sanchez.

Geno smith is the only QB I'll be happy with; he literally makes my stomach have butterflies and I want him to have babies with my sister so I can be the uncle of some talented bastards. he swings the biggest, chocolatiest penis and his tears cure cancer.

Ebolapox 09-24-2012 09:46 PM

this one time, I saw him run a bootleg where he kicked five of the opponents in the balls then balanced the football on his pickle as he ran down the sideline.

Eh... I'll accept.

Only because you threw in the bit about his chocolatey penis.

Congratulations!

I don't even care where we pick at......trade up for him. Give up 3 1st round picks to do it.

Geno Smith Up And Decides To Be Perfect

Be a little more like West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith today, everybody:

"He had five incompletions and we talked about how we had to play with a faster tempo and other adjustments," [WVU quarterbacks coach Jake] Spavital said. "He told me he wasn't going to throw another incomplete pass."

Spavital wasn't worried about that. He was instead concerned with a three-and-out on the team's fifth possession or the drive that followed and ended with time running out to end the half. Two hours later, though, Smith's words had Spavital's attention.

"He went out there and went 11-for-11 in the second half," Spavital said. "I really only thought he was joking about it."

RealSNR 09-26-2012 08:01 PM

His first "real" challenge of the season is this Saturday. He goes up against #25-ranked Baylor at 11 central on FX.

Ya'll will get to see him in a shootout situation most likely.

Thig Lyfe 09-26-2012 08:04 PM

Wow. Geno has such a great deep throw. He just threw half the length of the field. 47 yard TD strike right at the endzone in stride-TD! Amazing.

MIAdragon 09-29-2012 11:23 AM

Can we get a 2 for one with Tavon as well pls.

Next two games will tell the story for us.

If we win the next two, we're challenging for the playoffs.

If we lose the next two, we're getting Geno Smith

If we go 1-1, we're going 7-9 and drafting a CB in the first :banghead:

all you guys need to stop jerking off for geno...hes a great player...he'll prolly win the heisman...which means he'll go top 5 and no way pioli trades up to draft a baller like this guy

I'm in. Make it happen.

Mr. Laz 09-29-2012 12:44 PM

looks big,strong and pretty accurate

not much of a runner, at least not fast enough to do it at the NFL level

a lot of his WR's are wide open though so there is the whole spread offense translates to the nfl issues.

nice fade pass to the corner though ... right on the money

alnorth 09-29-2012 12:49 PM

This dude throws bombs perfectly. We need him.

saphojunkie 09-29-2012 12:50 PM

Just tuned in to the game to see how he's doing. 486 yards. 6 TD. No INT.

Uh... we're gonna need to lose out for this guy.

There's no issue with the spread. This is the same offense Weeden ran, and very similar to what Griffin ran last year.

If your WRs are wide open, you better hit them consistently.

Geno has more TDs than incompletions in this game.

Dude is a ****ing stud.

Dayze 09-29-2012 12:57 PM

Too much risk .

saphojunkie 09-29-2012 12:57 PM

I LOVE the fact that he's not a runner. Even RG3 is relying on that too much in the NFL.

Shogun 09-29-2012 01:01 PM

Geno Smith works 83% of the time, Every time.

IN.

Hammock Parties 09-29-2012 01:01 PM

I would give up every draft pick for Geno Smith.

And I would tell Matt Cassel to go **** himself on live TV.

And I would be the most loved GM in Chiefs history.

It's just not enjoyable anymore for me to watch the Chiefs trot out inferior players at the most important position in sports.
