Im the biggest Cassel hater here.

I openly root for the Chiefs to get blown out every week. Because everyone gets blamed in a blowout. But in close losses, Cassel can escape being blamed.

My biggest fear was we would beat Buffalo. Thank God we didn't. Now the losing streak can continue safely.

Is it my imagination or are Kevin Boss and Tony Moeaki quite open on this play where Casshole fumbled? Right side of the field, short and deep.

Gus takes two steps up before he's sacked after this frame so he had time to throw.

http://i.imgur.com/RO8xp.jpg

BossChief 09-19-2012 11:17 PM

Dude, from the looks of things, EVERYONE is open if the throw is on the mark.

A franchise quarterback can complete a pass to ANY of those receivers.

BossChief 09-19-2012 11:41 PM

Here is the quote of Tamba throwing Cassel under the bus...

http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2011/1...-romeo-crennel

He was also asked about Romeo Crennel and his chances of coming back.

"Yeah, I think anybody on this team would agree with me," Hali said when asked if the players want Romeo back. "If we can keep Romeo as our head coach here, it'd be great. We love what he does, his game plan. As you can see what happened on Sunday, he was able to control the clock, along with our quarterback. That's something we haven't been able to do here in a long time is control the clock. That will win you games."

If it wasn't clear that he likes Romeo, then read on.

Damn! No kidding! Hell, whoever is running right down the seam at the 48 yard line should be at least a 15 to 20 yard gain. At least.

Cheater5 09-20-2012 06:16 AM

What a waste of opportunity these past 2-3 years. What might've been with even a solid (not stellar) quarterback? Think how many Chiefs players have moved on or are now past their prime while we waited on MC to 'bloom'.

Damn near criminal neglect.

This is a perfect example of Cassel's complete lack of vision. He throws it to his crutch(DMC) who has 2 defenders waiting on him, instead of throwing it to the guy 5 yards past DMC with 1 defender around him.

Gus needs to be disseminated more among the fan base.

The fact that Gus is actually part of his real name is so fitting.

Matt is a name for talented guys. Matt Ryan, Matt Schaub, Matt Stafford, etc.

Gus is a name for garbage heap QBs.

45 rushes vs 44 passes. Still 3-17.

Hammock Parties 09-23-2012 10:48 PM

Chefs actually ran more than they passed today despite Casshole's 44 attempts, so Cassel 3:17 remains untainted.

Matt should be commended on his now sparkling 4-13 record against franchise QBs.

Quote:

Gus Cassel's Record Against Elite Quarterbacks, By Year:

2012: 1-1
2011: 1-2
2010: 1-3 68 HOT SHIT YARDS
2009: 1-4
2008: 0-3
Note that Matt has filled his quota of "beating one and only one elite QB per year," so we can expect to go 0-6 against:

Rivers x2
Manning x2
Flacco
Roethlisberger

The way Rivers is playing our D may face rape him. Manning isn't playing all that hot either.

I could see us going .500 vs the two.

I don't like our chances at all vs. the Ravens. The Steelers are erratic. Ben could blow us up or go all meh. Hard to predict...

Hammock Parties 09-23-2012 10:57 PM

Have faith in the trends people.

0-16 vs teams scoring more than 24.

Saints scored 24 today.

Had they scored a FG in the 4th they would have won. We tied that game by the skin of our teeth.

The fact that Cassel's stats haven't really improved this year, despite the fact that he has:

Jamarrrlll Charles
Jon Baldwin
Eric Winston
No Haley

Is proof that he is even more garbage than we thought.
