All that ad-libbing was classic Johnny Football.

That was a perfect throw. You should gif up the Harris td as well. Smith threw the ball before Harris even turned around

Every post you make is just proof on top of proof that you are a god awful evaluator.

Stay in your lane, woman. Stick to GIFs and Youtube videos.

I don't know. Carr is the best in the division and the other 3 are all capable of having good and terrible games.

It was a good throw, but BETTER? Nah. It was an option route against a DB playing man, and the DB guessed wrong. Semen put it where he needed to, but it sure wasn't better than the Smith to Hunt throw.

The West is full of "good" QBs. Saying Semen is the worst of the bunch doesn't put him into Brian Hoyer territory or anything.

I chose that throw based on the endzone angle behind Alex view of it. On that play, Alex had Kelce open in the left flat but came off of that throw to place it perfectly to Hunt, who looked to be pretty well covered on that play. That throw is not one Alex makes last year, or three years ago, or maybe ever.

I'm talking about the deep ball.

I don't think Smith has ever connected on a throw like that.

The deep ball that's intercepted?

ToxSocks 09-12-2017 03:03 PM

ClayCoMo is so bad at evaluation that he thinks late throws into coverage is praise worthy.

"Alex Smith only throws to open receivers!"

jjchieffan 09-12-2017 03:05 PM

WoW Clay. Just when we thought that you're football takes couldn't possibly get any dumber, you compare Semen to Green. That is just off the charts stupid. The mods should stick you with this sig forever. You need it as a disclaimer for your posts.

That was what I thought, too?

If that is the type of throw he's referring to, I remember Alex hitting Maclin on that route against the Bills and the Raiders, never mind having it actually intercepted....

I...uh....surely he realizes that ball wasn't caught. Right?

I mean...yeah, he has to realize that.

There can be throws just as good as the ball that Smith threw to Hunt, but that is literally a perfect throw. It's on time, right on target and thrown in the only way that would allow Hunt to accelerate and score. It may have involved a lot of YAC yards but it was still 30 yards in the air and on a ****ing dime.

I'm not sure how one can call a throw categorically better than that throw. He literally could not have done a better job and it led directly to the biggest score of the ballgame.

He's in full troll mode at this point. Clay's probably just pissed because he forced an interception into triple coverage in Madden again and is blaming his video game QB for his own poor decision-making.

Reading this post then looking at your "At Least You Tried" avatar made me chuckle, heh.

ROFL Didn't see the end of the play.

Anyway, the point stands. Smith never even attempts that throw.
