throw the ****ing ball down the field

He's been effectively neutered. We bought a broken toy. And nothing is going to change that.

And yes, it is the most miserable of viewing experiences.

Like I said in the game thread, Smith would stand on one card in blackjack.

DrunkBassGuitar 12-07-2014 07:31 PM

at least Smith didn't take a 10 yard sack on 2nd down

small victories

610 prattling on about this abortion of a drive.

One guy is making the same Alexcuses we're used to here on CP.

But nobody trusts Alex to win the game, obviously.

I think we broke the toy and it doesn't work anymore...

Not even his own receivers trust Alex to win the game.

"We're not a team that can comeback from a deficit" -or some shit like that.

When your #1 Receiver says that, that's all you need to know.

He might as well had asked what Matt Cassel was doing.

I cant think of a HC that could call a worse set of plays in the 2 min offense than Reid has this year.

Just down right atrocious... You could put a love child of 400,000 NFL QB's over the history of the NFL and that kid would look at you like you are reeruned.

Reid is making Herm look competent.

I doubt Reid intended on Smith dumping it off 4 straight attempts.

The checkdown is likely designed in the play as an "oh shit" for Smith, i doubt the checkdowns were designed as primary targets.

See.....this is where I'm ****ing stuck.

We all know that Smith isn't going to throw down the field. So is Andy calling the plays hoping that Smith will snap out of it?

FYP

I have thrown as many TD's to WR's this year as Alex Smith.

KC runs a few 'designed' checkdown's, the ones where you see WR's blocking though. The checkdowns you saw yesterday were from Alex not wanted to take a shot downfield. AZ blitzed every play during that 1 minute drill, and not ONCE did he take the 1v1 with bowe.

He needs to start taking the shots down field. They review the same film, and see the same things we do. Even on the Kelce late fumble, Wilson was WIDE open on the 7 route, yet he checked down to the stick route.

Ran similar concepts last year but Alex at least attempted the throws...

Are you sure? Was it worse than the croyle/huard/thigpen/cassel/orton/quinn?

I mean, the last 8 years have been pretty awful.
