Yeah, they say that'll do the trick.

I was at work and so busy that I wasn't able to get to some medication until the symptoms all wore off. It took about 2 hours from the time I got stung to get back to 100%.

I actually thought I was going to die at one point. I'd never dealt with an allergic reaction before.

Man oh man don't ever wait to go the hospital when stung and a reaction like that. It can kill you and hope your Dr told you this. Next time your reaction could be worse.

I used to rub it on my hands and arms then go wrestle with people. Turns out that isn't so popular with fellow campers!

Never had it, in fact I tore down a bunch of vines that they said was poison ivy and never got anything. Guess I'm not allergic

I find it hard to spot, anytime I see a leafy plant I think poison ivy and usually I'm wrong.

Well... good luck with all that hahah... I kid... But here's two plants you should familiarize yourself with if you're always venturing into the ivy patches...

Jewelweed

You can use jewelweed as somewhat of a preventative measure or use it if you've think you've been exposed. Split the stem, rub it all over.

Milkweed

You can use this to help with the itch and the blisters. Rub the milky sap on the rash and blisters, it'll stop the itch and dry up the blisters.

If you're getting that severe of a reaction and regularly exposing yourself, those plants won't be far away and will save you from your sorrow.

And here is Jewelweed... (Btw you only really want the spotted jewelweed)

I once jerked off to Poison Ivy 2. I thought I had an allergic reaction when I got a rash but then was told to just use vaseline.

You mean you like starred at it while you jerked? Or used the oil as lubricant?

BTW, since this was bumped, my update is it's almost completely gone on my legs. I have some on my ankles, and hands. I came in contact with the oil again because it was on my shoes and wore the same shoes again. I've now thrown those out. My hands got it because of a tool I was using still had some oil on it. I've wiped down everything at this point. It doesn't bother me that much now. I ignore the sumbitch since it's no longer giant puss balls. Now it's small and scattered.

I don't have health insurance so I was waiting until I couldn't wait any longer to go to the hospital.

I was having chest pains and thought I was having trouble breathing but I think that was just me freaking myself out.
