I agree, Jim's is the best. I always liked South Street in the 90's but haven't been there in a few years so not exactly sure what it's turned into. Was a cool place for record stores (611 and Digital Underground).

Go to Independence Hall and the Barnes is a great place.

I've stayed at the Sheraton just on the other side of 95 by Penn's Landing several times. I don't know how it is now, but the Chart House used to be a pretty nice place to eat. You can take a ferry from Penn's Landing over to New Jersey and go to the aquarium. They also have the USS Olympia there as well.
Don't miss the Liberty Bell and independence Hall.

My only advise is if someone on the street tries to sell you on the idea of going to a club that offers free foot long Philly cheesesteaks...dont go!!! They're not the kind you'd think they are!!!!
