Wrong. McClain is a fullback.

We'll carry 3 RBs and 1 FB.

Let me know when we find our fullback.

he will want the ball as a HB ala the Thomas Jones role or he will instantly quit on this team if they even try that Leron McClain garbage on him. They wont because Daboll and Hillis are butt buddies. we will carry a real FB

Peyton Hillis has no problem with a blocking role. He'll be a pass catching, occasional running, fullback to the extent that this offense has a fullback.

There is nothing wrong with pick. We needed another safety and got one from Bama no less and we needed another RB for sure because Battle is a BUM and always has been! This kid is way better than that loser Jackie.

Dexter should return kicks and play just a little in 4 recoever sets only.

Note to self: Never come to Chiefsplanet to get player evals. Audience has mass sandvag and would bitch if RG3 fell to team in 7th rd.

That will be Devon Wylie's role.

Give me one reason why we need 4 RB.

Are you serious? Did you see our running game without JC and a used up Jiones. Battle is a joke. We needed another RB for sure.

Running back by committee we use to do that. Denver does it, of course their o-linemen use Vaseline also.

Almost everyone does it now.

I'm still trying to figure out who the hell is bitching, except one guy.

Almost everyone likes this pick.

You already know they haven't drafted one yet. The Chiefs are scheduled to have five picks as the draft concludes today and while Kirk Cousins of Michigan State might be an enticing prospect at this point, Romeo Crennel this morning didn't sound like the Chiefs were in the mood to draft Cousins or any other quarterback.
The Chiefs already have a developmental quarterback in Ricky Stanzi,a fifth-round pick last year.
''We’ll have to feel good about whoever we look at that he’ll have a chance to compete with Stanzi or he has to be better than Stanzi, which might be tough at this point,'' Crennel said.

We have 3 RB. If one gets hurt, we sign another one.

No need to carry 4.

After watching those vids, it looks like the kid has excellent vision, can break tackles, and really good cuts. I'm very happy with this pick.

Spicy McHaggis 04-28-2012 03:32 PM

I like the pick although at that point I might have rolled the dice on Lindley.

This seems straight forward to me. Stanzi is the solid #2 going into camp. They aren't going to draft someone who isn't going to beat out Brady Quinn at 3rd string.
