Why would KU quit football?

In their history they have 3 Hall of Famers, NFL Defensive Player of the Year within the past 15 years, a BCS victory...

I understand the program is down right now but your statement really doesn't make any sense.

Accomplish any of that and then you can say something like you've expressed in your post.

I just looked up the Vandy box score. Same 36K attendance as the KU game. I wonder if they should just give up the sport. If 5-10k Mizzou fans hadn't shown, the place would've been an even emptier morgue. I guess the SEC needs bottom feeders to pad records.
