The fact that there is this much debate about the issue leads me to believe that it has already been decided that Scotty is gone and this is just his last ditch effort to try and save face and make it seem like it was a REALLY tough decision for Clark so that when he goes elsewhere he can be picked up relatively quickly and their (poor unfortunate) fans wont seem like they are getting someone that not only our fanbase didnt want, but our ownership too.

What plan could he come up with?
