I think Clark is leaning one way or the other, but that the plan Pioli puts in front of him will be a decision maker.

No way in hell will Clark allow Pioli to hire Josh McDaniels and I doubt Clark will be sold by Kirk Ferentz.

I think Pioli is gonna need to have a plan in place that will turn around this team or he will get fired.

Every coach he approached last year, said no.

A few that have been contacted this year, likely said no based on the GM.

When your GM affects Coaching hires, free agents, etc. something isn't right.

I dont know which coaches they were, but I know for a fact that 2 coaches turned the HC job down in 2009 before the job was given to Todd Haley.

He is fighting the difference between highest GM in the NFL pay and director of pro personnel pay somewhere else next year.
