With so many of the Justice League members being overpowered, we would never see such weak villains in a JL film. It would likely be a Darkseid level threat or something similar in which, physically speaking, Batman would be utterly and completely useless.

With that said, Bats is a great mind. He's got the tech and tactical ability to remain somewhat useful. I'm not sure it would be cool to see a movie with Batman in a control room somewhere as opposed to the frontlines though.

One of the gripes I had with the Avengers was Captain America taking a backseat to everyone. His heroics included two scenes and he wasn't that important compared to what I thought he should've been. I imagine Batman would be in a similar situation. I would think he'd stay to the shadows more throughout the film than fight in the open, unless he had a bat plane or some thing he could mow down baddies with.

You, and all the naysayer critics, totally missed the point. You want "charm" and "likability"? Pop in "Superman" with Christopher Reeve and watch the aw-shuckness. The only realistic attempts to portray Superman have been by this film and by "Smallville". Everything before those are corny cardboard portrayals ruined by the passage of time.

The problem is that, when you start talking alien/inhuman powers, you move from "superhero" to "SUPERhero". As a vigilante detective, Batman is a great character. But you can only develop your physicality so far, and your gadgets and toys to a certain degree. Batman and Green Arrow just can't match up against an altered/stronger being. Spiderman, The Flash, Green Lantern, even Aquaman and Wonder Woman... all have powers or an unusually stronger physicality that has a background reason for it. So, in any JL film, they'd have to do the same thing for Batman that they did for Captain America: create specific scenes for him to show, "hey, look, he's contributing!" Batman would have to do it by coming up with the ideas and plans, or noticing something about how the enemy is attacking, etc.,. And of course his toys would come into the mix. But hand-to-hand he wouldn't be doing a whole lot against any opponent with more-than-normal power.

With her dead facial expression and open mouth, in the Wonder Woman suit she'd look just like the blowup sex-doll fantasy I had as a kid.

I'm not really sure what current actress would make a good Wonder Woman. She'd have to be tall and built like a brick shithouse yet able to kick ass. And, like Superman, you'd have to decide if you're portraying her as the smiling apple-pie-and-American-flag version that Lynda Carter did on TV, or the more angry and edgy Wonder Woman they show in the more modern comics.

P.S. to the last post: apparently there are quite a few internet lists of ideas for who should play Wonder Woman. These are the ones mentioned on a few lists who I think would be the best pool to choose from:

Bridget Regan
Gemma Arterton
Zoe Saldana (probably too thin)
Olivia Wilde (probably too thin)
Cobie Smulders
Jessica Biel
Mila Kunis (probably too short)
Rooney Mara
Kat Dennings (probably too short)
Morena Baccarin
Gina Carano
Lynn Collins
Charlize Theron
Evangeline Lilly

That's odd - I find you to be completely without charm and void of any likeability.

But Man of Steel was great!

I haven't really seen her in anything so I don't know if she could pull it off, but I think Alexandra Daddario looks right. She might have to put on a little muscle, but she's tall enough and can fill out the costume.

Spoiler!

ROFL  I would certainly like to bone Stewart once or twice, maybe more. She seems totally submissive.

Charlize is great at everything but I don't think she'd be willing to exert so much energy for a film. Not as young as she used to be. And Dennings is just way too busty, no once could take her seriously. Liv Tyler could do it, if she's up to it, probably too short as well. The actress probably has to be at least 5'10" right?

Of the ones on the list, I'd go with Evangeline Lilly. She's hot, can kick some ass and would fill out the suit well.

I'm not sure she's big enough? I have no idea, but she looks petite? Doesn't WW need to be tall, big boned with a nice rack?

Demonpenz 06-21-2013 04:43 PM

Wonder woman would need to do the honesty lasso around cheapelle

DAMN YOU GOT BIG TITTIES>

Deberg_1990 06-21-2013 04:47 PM

I've got it. Jennifer Lawrence as Wonder Woman.
