Tower of Joy is happening, folks.

I was just coming here to say that too.

Did I miss a casting notice?

Flashbacks to the Tower of Joy would be a nice lead-up to a final shot in the episode in which the Red Woman gives Jon the kiss of life...

I'll tune in just so I can watch Martyn Cassel die.

No point in Tower of Joy unless it's to reveal Jon's heritage and no reason to reveal Jon's heritage if he isn't returning in some form.

I have no clue on the actual timeline but maybe Lyanna is dying in the tower because she is giving birth to Jon and it doesn't go well. You go right from that scene to Jon's rebirth with Melisandre.

Legendary Fighter: A man in his thirties or forties who is a great swordsman and a paragon of knighthood. He carries a hugely famous sword on his back. The show is seeking a very impressive swordsman for the role- the best in Europe, for a week of filming fight scenes for a season 6 role. His ethnicity/race isn’t specified, unlike many other roles.

There is also a casting notice for someone who sounds like a young Ned.

The sword carried by Arthur Dayne isn't given to ANYBODY in the House of Dayne. They must be the embodiment of Knighthood. And this was the guy who Barristan Selmy was scared of, which explains the swordsmanship thing.

It'll be interesting to see if they then decide Jojen's father will be the guy to reveal it or if they'll just show it in the flashback.

Lyanna Stark. Ned Stark's sister.

In the first book, Ned Stark says her name was Wylla, and she was a commoner tavern woman. But there's a great deal of speculation that was a lie on Ned's part. Her true identity hasn't been revealed.

Is she the Targaryen? That'd make the most sense in my mind. Have him marry his sister and rule the world.
