He doesn't seam to be a big ego kind of guy. I think he can be a GM most coaches can work with. I don't have a ****ing clue tho. So please why would he be a bad idea?

So you don't know anything about him? I'm not going to waste my time 'inlighten'-ing you. Go do your own research.

Thank you.

Terrible, horrendous argument.

Just awful.

comparing that NFL to this NFL

Seriously. Matt Cassel has a higher QB rating for his career than John Elway.

Our Chiefs teams of the 90s led by DT, Neil Smith and Marty would be 6 win teams in today's NFL with the rule changes...probably tops.

Good job Hootie. Good hijack.

And while Manning did dominate his division while with the Colts, they didn't win it EVERY year. In fact, they won the division 9 times in his 13 years. He lost the division one year to a KERRY COLLINS/VINCE ****ING YOUNG tandem. We get a franchise QB and it CAN be done.

so what...did he win 7 of his last 8? I never looked. The year Kerry and Vince won...was that the year they lost 35-38 to the Chargers in the playoffs?

Either way I don't think any of those Indy teams are as good or as well set up for the future as his current Broncos team.

Add to that he was in a division that contained two expansion teams (Jax in '95 and Houston in '02) and another that relocated (Tennessee in '97).

Great QB - HOFer, 1st ballot. All time great. Not unbeatable.

Whatever.

I made a point about Manning being in our division possibly effecting Reid's decision, or another HC.

I'm sorry that people questioned why and then argued it and I responded.

I'm sorry, you're just wrong. There is a reason why Peyton Manning and Tom Brady haven't lost their divisions for close to, if not over a decade. (not counting the 11 win Cassel year in NE)

This isn't the Marty era...this isn't 'defense wins' era...

that argument is totally flawed; just 100%

I don't know how to tell this to you guys...I love your faith and your ability to hold on. I know I can enjoy a new coach and a new (Geno) QB...I think it'll be great.

But I'm also going to be realistic and realize we have no shot at this division for at least 3 years.

NONE

IT WON'T HAPPEN

Unless you guys hire Tonya Harding to take out Peyton Manning. Then we'll talk.

Well I wouldn't say "no shot" but they sure would have a better one without Manning. When the Donx signed him, I got myself used to the idea that as long as they had Manning, the road to the AFC West title would go through Denver.

Exactly.

The idea that Manning can't be toppled is absolutely false.

Will it be tough? **** yeah.

Is it impossible? ROFL
