This is a pretty darn good setup for anyone who wants to get into sub ohm vaping without having to really know anything about it.

Wish I could make the switch to this. I tried but it just wasn't the same. How do I make the transition!?

My smoking has gotten way out of hand.

Have you tried a decent device or just the e-cigs? Because e-cigs really suck.

I have a eGo C Twist with a Unitank (now cracked for some reason from just sitting around with juice in it).

Maybe I need a juice that tastes like Marlboro Mental Lights.

Those are OK to start off with and get used to vaping. I fairly quickly switched to something better after dropping my eGo Twist a million times and breaking it. I would suggest that you switch to something with a better wattage range. When I switched it was to the VV 2.0 as that was what was available then.

The Innokin VV 3.0 (or 4.0) is a nice step up from the Twist series:

And a mini Nautilus works great as the tank.

Variable wattage is better than variable voltage (what the Twist does) because it's more precise and gives you a more steady vaping experience. Mister E Liquid (online) has a very nice collection of tobacco flavors at reasonable prices. Honey Flue Cured (HFC) was one of my favorites.

Solid. Thanks man. I really appreciate the help. I'll give it another go.

My recommendation is to not look for a flavor that resembles the cigarette you smoke. You won't find it, and you'll become discouraged. Go the complete opposite way, fruit, candy, or baked goods; learn to enjoy those and you'll find the taste of cigs bother you, not to mention the smell.

Just my $0.02

The KEY is telling yourself, this is all you get. No more tobacco. It's a mental thing to be sure, but I haven't smoked in 2 years. It's worth it bro. Keep it up!

That's a really good idea. I enjoy the different flavors and mixing up my own. Cigs really do stink to me now.

It's absolutely amazing....
Oh, and no glass to break.

So thanks to this guy I've hit one month without a cig now. I'm on 8mg tobacco juice using the 1 ohm coil and go through about 5ml a day. Waiting on a bunch of 6mg stuff to show up and will go to it when the 8 runs out.

There is glass to break though, it still works but leaks when it cracks. Replaceable tank isn't that expensive.

I'm starting to get into mixing. I've ordered about 35 flavoring bottles and another 10 flavor enhancers.
Things that give a flavor that baked goods taste, or the cool sensation you get in menthol- except that it's flavorless, so you can get the effect with any mixture you want. Like a cool raspberry just as example.

Shipment should be here Friday, and then I will be making tons of test combinations and let them seep for at least 10 days.

I've flirted with the idea of opening an online shop if I can get around 50 truly unique flavor mixtures.

My favorite right now is a mixture of Dragonfruit, Lychee, and a few other little tweaks I made in a 60/40 PG to VG solution with a 2% nicotine strength.

The flavor is amazing!

Where do you get your flavors? I saw a site online, I think it was Lorann Oils.

listopencil 06-11-2015 05:31 PM

I got a bottle of Tsunami Cig e-fluid at my local tobacco shop the other day. It was surprisingly very good for a mixer. I added it to some USP grade VG and the flavor was really good. Very close to a cigarette. It has that little bit of shitty old cig catching in the back of your throat that I miss. Here is the site:

Varies by a particular flavor - so far the majority I'm testing out is from Capalla's. Just doing some reading on different forums, I found quite a bit of concensus agreement that their versions of common flavors are really good.

Most will also say that it's really a trial and error to find *the* one.
For example, one guy tried something like over 30 different versions of vanilla to find his favorite and ones that are a good compliment when creating a custom mix.

I'm eager to try out a mix of my own creation I'm call the Maggie Moo's waffle cone. It's a mixture in different parts of :

Toffee
Bavarian chocolate
Sweet Cream
Waffle
with a few flavor texture and sensory enhancers.

It's seeping right now, and has 6 more days before I can give it an initial taste, but I can already tell it's going to be awesome when I check it out and give it a good sniff as the flavors blend and mature.

In about a month or so I'm going to order another group of all exotic flavors typically not found in the US.
There's an international fruit market here in Chicago, and I love going to load up on various exotic and unique types of produce. So, I'll be get about 25 - 30 flavors I haven't seen anyone come close to making or selling.

I've abnlways been a DIY geek and little projects in my spare time. But, if I really like my results I'm seriously considering making them available online for people looking for rare and exotic blends of ejuice.
