What surpried me was I got around to unloading all my various bags I had shotguns shells in this weekend so I could put them in ammo cans. I have over 1000 freaking shotgun shells. I had no idea, I figured I was at around 400.

Just realized there is one drawback to upgrading to Dawson sights on my XDm. Now it won't fit in either of the cheapy holsters I have for it because the front sight snags. Just bought a Minotaur Gladiator holster from Comp-Tec for the new 1911 - I guess I'll be getting two.

Blackhawk serpa is the holster I want for my 1911

This is exactly what I'm getting. They are a bit pricey, but they're awesome.

I'm hoping to sell off about half of it to cover some of my own cost. Either that, or trade for bricks of .22lr |

I went ahead and deleted it. Its a damn shame considering they had the best prices on .22 that I've seen since the panic. |

There are still .22LR rounds to be found... if you happen to know someone who lives in Alabama.
Had my girlfriend pick this up for me today at a Bass Pro Shop in Prattville, AL. :thumb: http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/9...5136319356.jpg |
I friggin hate the stock and scope/ring platform my savage axis has. You have to lean over to see through the front retical(sp).

It's a damn shame they have a 10 box maximum or I would have had the girlfriend load up on more of the bulk boxes of 22LR. Oh well. They restock their shelves every Wednesday. :thumb: |
I figured I would post this in here with the ticket information. I know Fraz will want in on this. :)
Youth Baseball Team Raffling AR-15 Rifle Cowboy Byte A youth baseball league in central Illinois is in desperate need of cash – so they’ve decided to auction off an AR-15 assault rifle. Last year the Atwood-Hammond baseball league tried to raffle off half a hog. But they only raised $10 – and barely had enough to pay the local butcher. So this year a local gun shop provided the league with a Rock River Arms Tactical Operator Two – and the response has been massive. “My phone has been ringing off the hook,” said Charidy Bucher, co-owner of the Atwood Armory shop. “The response has been tremendous.” Bucher told me her phone has been ringing since 4:30 a.m. “People from out of state have been calling,” she said. She said the winner of the rifle will also receive 260 rounds of ammunition. “Ammo is just as hard to get as the firearms these days, unfortunately,” she said. The towns of Atwood and Hammond are about 25 miles southwest of Champaign – where many residents invoke their Second Amendment rights. “Most people in central Illinois like to go out and shoot with their families,” she told Fox News. “People are interested in preserving their rights to keep and bear arms.” http://cowboybyte.com/19936/outh-bas...#ixzz2NYk6Mum1 I just gave them a call and I'm buying a ticket. When you mail in your check, they will mail your stub out to you. The drawing is June 29th. If you want to buy a ticket, the tickets are $20 each. My new .45 shipped yesterday. I should have it by Monday.

I also went into another outfit looking at rifles and they just got in a shipment of.22 LR bullets. Limit 200 per person, so I got two boxes of 100 at $9.95 a box. It felt like I hit the Powerball. |
I was really hoping I'd be able to get it today so I'd have it for the weekend, but they shipped a day too late. Oh well. I've got some new grips for it that I'll probably have to put on by my gunsmith because of the magwell, so that won't happen now until next weekend.

Picked up my new AK-74 on Monday from a local gun store. PBJ
I got it from Atlantic Firearms. It was my first time buying a gun online, and the transaction couldn't have went smoother. I have a feeling it won't be the last time I order a firearm from them. I don't have any ammo for it yet. Next week, I plan on ordering at least 4 spam cans (1,080 rounds each) of 5.45 x 39. I apologize for the shitty cell phone pics. But its a rule that you have to post pics of any new guns. |
Those things have hardly any recoil.
Enjoy! |
Those sparrows will be dead I tell you.

HURRY. They are flying out the door. limit of 5 per order but I've been able to place multiple orders. I should get at least 5 (boxes of 20) though they may cancel my other orders. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shoot...85&WT.tsrc=AFF |

Where can one find 9mm or .380 these days. I can't find it anywhere (kc metro area)

I have to take a step up & buy PMC Bronze for cheap plinking ammo for the Colt. I wish the Colt would run steel but it wont. SHTF it wont be going with me either. |

I do a LOT of driving to meet customers in about 17 different states and the 9mm seemed like it was flying off the shelves in the larger city areas since early/mid December. I have the best luck finding ammo in little podunk towns. |

Does anyone here have experience with Burris reflex sights? I was thinking of getting either a Fastfire II or III model.

I expect to welcome home a Norinco SKS on Thursday. I worked out a trade that involved the Keltec PF9 and $200 cash. I have to drive out to Emporia to go get it but small hurdle.
We also worked out to what amounted to an ammo swap. .223 for 7.62x39 https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...57748104_o.jpg |
Still waiting on Bolt and Carrier Groups......The first batch that HLF Man. recieved were rejected by Qualtiy Control.
At least there will not be a Federal Assult weapons ban, so things will level out in 6 months or so. |
The Spartan was a bit twitchy with our reloaded ammo - I had a few misfires last night. The gunsmith has it for a little tweaking.

Score!
I just picked up a case today. I was going through a small town on a sales run and was told, at their sporting goods store they were getting in some .22 shells. I talked to the dude behind the counter into stashing a case away for me. 10 boxes of 225 rounds at $14.99 a box. As a bonus, it's winchester high velocity hollow point ammo, not the garbage. |

Rick Grimes gun on Walking Dead. Colt Python with 8" barrel. I'd like to get one, but production was stopped in the early 90's. It is now a collectors item. Prices are $2500-$4500.

So freaking cool with that low slung side holster.

On a side note, it you do find one, DO NOT dry fire it. They are great guns, but dry firing them will break the firing pin on that model. You may get away with it a few times, but sooner or later, snap.
