They base it off McNabb to redskins trade

Quick! Trade him to the Broncos before they go get a real QB!

Shane Ray for Alex Smith? Why not just keep Dee Ford?

TigeRRUppeRRcut 01-18-2018 11:41 AM

Can anyone explain why Smith has had more success than Rivers over the last 5 years despite having less talent on offense?

They both have the exact same number of playoff wins in the last five years.

Smith played with Top 7 defenses four of the last five years.

Rivers played with the #29, #21, #13, #11 and #3 defenses.

As it currently is, Smith will never come close to Rivers' 342 touchdown passes and certainly won't match his lofty 4 playoff wins.

**** off.

Andy Reid is the best thing that ever happened to Alex.

Alex went 9-7 with one of the most talented offenses in football.

Rivers once went 9-7 throwing to Malcom Floyd and handing it to Mike Tolbert. ROFL

How did we only win 8 games with Alex in 2014?

That was easily a top 5 defense. Best front 7 in football.

JakeF 01-18-2018 12:24 PM

So this thread is no longer about the trade market for Alex Smith? *slowly backs out of thread*
