He clearly had to go away because of the gambling shit and didn’t really have a choice. I’m in no way talking about/defending MJ the man. Only the basketball player. Funny how you choose to use the words “deserted” when Lebron’s done just that and I’m pretty sure that’s not how you would describe it for him. “Isn’t is all about the rings?” It’s so obvious you have your biases too in this discussion, but you’re just a ****ing hypocrite. |

I don’t think Jordan had a choice. I think the league pushed him to it.
It’s just interesting that “who gives a ****, it’s irrelevant” is said about one and “ran like a bitch” the other |

Either way though, in my limited lifetime I’ve gotten to watch the 2 greatest basketball players of all time. Which is pretty cool.

I couldn’t care less about these guys off the court. Their personalities and egos come with them onto the court though, and that does have an affect on your game. Lebron is clearly more passive aggressive than MJ, hence the 4th Q disappearances in the Finals and awful body language (as a leader/teammate). He’s gone out like a bitch more than once. That effects how I view him in comparison to somebody like MJ. |

And further, perhaps if Lebron spent a couple years playing college ball and toughening up a little (like Jordan had to) before heading to the NBA, maybe he wouldn’t have gotten punked like a bitch his first two NBA Finals trips (2007 & 2011)? |

Obviously Jordan’s later years are what they are now but looking back at the early years, they weren’t very successful in the playoffs |

So maybe he needed to be tougher? |

And then when he finally made it to NBA’s biggest stage, he shined the brightest. If you wanna give Lebron a pass for getting swept by the Spurs in his first NBA Finals, fine. But in his SEVENTH season, with a ‘super’ team at his back, he got punked like a bitch by the ****ing Dallas Mavs of all teams! Meanwhile, Jordan is his SEVENTH season, with a lesser team, was dominating the end of the Showtime Lakers run . . . . . |
