But it doesn't seem to improve us for 2017.

It probably makes us better in RF so I'm not sure about that. Plus, Alex and Cain are as reliable as my old HS car. Orlando will get 300AB as the 4th OF now.

Put it this way: the move likely keeps that twerp Burns out of the batter's box all year. That has value.

Halfcan has worse baseball takes than Prison Bitch is nice to people.

Think about it.

I think it is but i don't see how Solar gets us anything other than to dump salary.

Halfwit, bwillie, laz, and cosmo hate it. Sounds like Dayton did alright then.

It'd probably be smart to see what Cain's value is seeing as he can't get through a season without being injured.

Could be some more trades or small FA signings, but I think Royals 2017 payroll will be right around $132 mil

And the Cubs fan doesn't like it.

It does seem like that's a recipe for success.

Then again, the Cubs fan thought Jason Heyward was a franchise player so there's that...

Prison Bitch 12-07-2016 03:00 PM

Meh, their MLB board is pretty solidly in favor of it.

So what can you guys tell me about Mous? If the Dodgers actually trade for him that is.

Moose? Great clubhouse guy. Above average defense, has some pop. Grew up in the LA suburbs. Solid player.

From what I'm reading, Facebook Cubs fan is against it, but their bb's are pretty stoked about it.

Have you pitched the Reds on your more than enough deal for Votto and Hamilton?

Soler will play every day in RF/Dh for KC and offers an upgrade to the offense from that position. Potentially a very sizable one. That's the strategy, first and foremost. KC got better in the OF by trading Davis. Secondary strategy is extending the window beyond 2017.

If they were trying to dump salary, they would have just taken the best prospect package available. They didn't. Instead, they took a guy with less control and a higher cost - about to hit arbitration eligibility.

That's not a salary dump. It's a reshuffle of assets.

Well there's a lot of stuff out there on the internet. He's also been on TV a lot the past couple years, over 30 playoff games and the AS Game too.

The guys on MLB Radio this afternoon were actually saying something similar; mostly that they thought the Reds could probably get out from under Votto's contract but that they'd have to eat some of it.

You pretending that Votto has much, if any, trade value is as delusional as Bwillie believing that Schwarber isn't enough for Davis.

Good defender with a plus arm, very steady and excellent hands.

As an offensive player, again, great hands and good raw power. Started trusting his hands again before he 2015 season and simplified his swing/stopped trying to pull EVERYTHING.

He's a 3-4 win player if he comes back from the ACL surgery (which there is no reason to Not expect), I think. With potential to be a 5-6 win guy if he has a breakthrough power season (like he was trending towards before last year's freak injury).
