It's not the appetite that's the problem. It's what I'm eating when I have to eat. Caloric restriction and studying don't go together well. I've been eating too much fast food lately. |

So I weighed in today under 200 for what I think is the first time since the 90s. Without dieting or working out. I'm unloading trucks and putting stuff on shelves at a retail store at ass o'clock in the morning 5 days a week. Turns out it's a great weight loss plan. I'm down nearly 30 pounds in 3 months.

Under 190 now. I think Im going to change my goal to 175-180 ish because it's looking like I won't look how I want to look at 185.

Have been hitting the gym hard the last two weeks. Got dem gainz.
194 still tho. Body composition is better tho. |
Interesting thread. I've been 175 for 15 years now so I don't believe the idea people are just condemned to gain weigh as they age. Just avoid sugar like the plague and don't eat fast food. When I grew up I didn't even know what "dessert" was until we went out to eat once and they asked us. I was 12 and didn't know what the word meant. Haven't eaten it the 28 years since.
Yesterday at Jason's Deli I stood by a man at the soft drink station. He was prob 275 and fat. He filled up his cup 1/2 way with root beer then walked to the ice cream dispensary and poured himself a gargantuan float. People didn't do that 30 years ago. |

I just never derived any pleasure from eating, plus it's boring. I cant imagine having trouble sitting in an airplane or car seat. Or guzzling a giant root beer float - what's fun about that?
