Fellas, we've gotta start scoring runs.

This is pathetic. This offense shouldn't be this bad.

5 runs in 5 games? We are trying to set some kind of record.

Tonight was tough, because they hit the ball hard, just continuously hit it right at guys.

But Craig, Peralta and Bourjos need to get going. The first two for sure.

I'm not sure about Wong.

Got a bad feeling about this one now. Liriano gets hurt, have the bases loaded with the Cards' best hitter......nothing. Now I expect Lyons to melt down.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-26-2014 04:39 PM

Pittsburgh has to have the greatest OF defense of all time. I've never seen a team run down absolutely everything. The Cardinals probably have three straight doubles against almost any other team in baseball.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-26-2014 04:41 PM

And Adams nails one right on the button into the shift.

As bad as the offense has been, I can't even get mad at them today. It's like the Pirates have 15 defenders out there.

Pasta Little Brioni 04-26-2014 04:51 PM

They are really into those shifts

After 25 games its time to quit using the same approach of they will work through it. It's dragging down everyone. Molina struck out twice yesterday. He use to strike out twice in a month, maybe.

Something different needs to be tried. Just not the same thing over and over again and hoping for different results. Something different is not putting Peralta and Craig in the 2nd slot "to get them going".

Peralta decided to swing it today. Needed that, I'm sick of losing to these scrubs.

Craig just looks lost up there. He needs some time off to work on his swing, approach and take a mental break.

If we are keeping those outfielders down in AAA because they need to play everyday to get better...then WTF are they doing with Wong? Either let him play or send him down to AAA and get it right. If he doesn't get it right, keep him down there.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-27-2014 09:15 PM

If they decide to start turning on the inside pitch the shit will buff out.

Jewish Rabbi 04-27-2014 11:27 PM

Garcia and Grichuk up, Wong and Robinson down.

O.city 04-28-2014 07:22 AM

Matheny playing mind games with Wong it seems.
