MLB take note. Wanna beat the Royals....send someone out there they never seen before with a high ERA. They'll become Cy Young caliber starting pitchers in no time.

Is Eisner on the 40-man roster? That could be an obstacle? I don't know.

What I do have is confidence that they'll keep/play the best players regardless of money when it's crunch time. I think they know they've got the division won, and they're really hoping Rios can shake out and show what he was doing before he had his hand broken, but I don't know.

Not on 40 man roster. They always could if someone gets taken off of it.
