Right now? Nobody does except the NFL.

I'm not sure there's precedent for this.

I don't think this is anything related to the hit.

To me, it seems like a Hank Gathers esque random cardiac episode.

But that's obviously pure speculation.

I missed it as I was channel hoping. I think that was a blessing not to see that.

There was nothing bad at all about it. He just collapsed after getting up after a tackle.

I've watched football (like most people in this forum) for 30+ years. I've never in my life seen any shit like this.

Option 1: Move the game until tomorrow night. Then Bills/Pats and Cinci/Ravens moves to Monday night next week.

Option 2: Forfeit

If he was defibrillated and had CPR, it’s serious as ****.

My hope is that it was a jolt to the sternum that caused his heart to stop. Or maybe it will be the incident that reveals Hamlin had a congenital anomaly that finally surfaced after that hit

Its the lack of oxygen in the blood if he wasn’t breathing.

Blood circulation is one step, but without oxygen it is still extremely concerning.

That’s great news. He must have normal sinus’s rhythm and communicaties correctly to the EMT. Under no circumstance would you stop to wait on family if the patient is in immediate medical need.

My assumption was that all these players got echocardiograms during physicals
