Alas, I only have mp3s of Bitte Orca.

They're a little weird for weird's sake at times. Kind of remind me of the Fiery Furnaces in that regard. It sort of makes me angry whenever a band refuses to settle into a groove and it's like they're intentionally ****ing up a catchy part of the song in order to be artsy.

****ing ace album.

Brilliant singer/songwriter.
It doesn't get much better than XO though.

2 new Arcade Fire songs released in advance of their August album. I only heard the second half of one, but I really liked it. I'll take a better listen when I get home.

XO is an absolutely amazing album, and certainly more popular, but I prefer Either/Or. The sparse accompaniment really showcases the songs themselves, which are fantastic. It also perfectly compliments his lonely, haunting voice and lyrics.

Listening to a new local duo, Messy Sparkles. Sort of a heavily percussive/electronic Animal Collective sound.

Song embedded at bottom of the article. Fayetteville's music scene is seriously starting to pick up. Lots of good, weird Indie stuff as of late.

New Arcade Fire song. Quite a departure from their older sound, but it still maintains that Arcade Fire feel. I'm really digging it.

Yeah, I like it. Sounds a little like "Wolf Like Me" by TVOTR until he starts singing.
