Watched Sucker Punch the other night. Definitely a strange movie. Not great by any means, but the visuals were fantastic and I like the music, as well. Story? Meh. Definitely a head scratcher.

It felt like one long music video, i fell asleep through it 3 times, finally finished it.

I really like that movie. Nobody talks about it, but I thought it was enjoyable

Everything Must Go was quite good. I'm like you, prior to Stranger Than Fiction, I'd never seen anything of his I enjoyed.

I think Ferrells movies can be quite good and funny. Mostly the stuff hes done with Adam McKay. He has a particular comedic voice, style and sensebility. Kind of like Adam Sandler does.

Comedy is highly subjective of course.

watch EMG last night...decent. I like Ferrell in this mode much better than the over the top Ricky-Bobby schtick.

Stranger Than Fiction is very good. I own it.

I started watching Horrible Bosses over the weekend but I didn't finish it. Didn't seem funny.

The only head scratcher for me was the very end. They left it a open ended.

I just watched Battle Los Angeles, which wasn't Patton, but it was a pretty good action-war flick. It's basically non-stop modern combat, almost like a video game.

Laid To Rest

Kevin Gage as Tucker Smith provided soundbyte intros to metal bands for the next 12 years. Gets a little bogged down in parts, but otherwise a fantastic slasher movie effort.

I've got ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 queued up next.

"Pearl Jam Twenty" is on Netflix instant stating today. I'm looking forward to check it out. Heard good things.

The Muppets sitting at 100% on RT right now with 58 reviews.

Whoever said Anchorman was garbage, what makes you laugh?

Setsuna 11-22-2011 11:35 PM

Ummmm Ricky Bobby? Best movie of his ever. Maybe it's because I'm from the south. But almost every line was hilarious because it absolutely made zero sense.
