and most of the Lakers roster is set barring a trade. So yeah. They literally just signed FOUR guys in like two hours. So its mostly set until the trade deadline when they realize they didnt win enough games in the first half of the season

Of course they all want to win. They’re athletes whose whole lives have been about getting to the point they’re at now. Once in a while stacking is fine. One last chance to get a ring or what-have-you. It’s always been like that, in every league. One more piece to push a team over the top. Now it’s the top players, in their primes, stacking themselves on a few teams. There is 0 disparity in the NBA. Makes the regular season pointless where teams mail it in before the first tip off is even thrown up. Any objective fan would have told you the finals would be GS - CLE before last season even started. Knowing the outcome of a season before it’s even played makes makes the league stale.
