Lance Stephenson and LeBron? Holy shitROFL
|
We'll see if they keep Ball. If they do the Lakers will be entertaining if nothing else. LeBron, Lance and Lavar Ball all weighing in on things.

Stephenson good defensive player off the bench or spot starter.
|
Yeah.. like I said I think they are targeting 19-20. Yuck.

I'm going to assume they actually signed someone else and the reporter inadvertently heard "Lance Stephenson."

Javale was awesome with GS and really turned his career around.

Curry and Durants soft assets won't b able to handle Stephensons crazy ass

He played an average of 9 minutes per game but had an amazing Per.... I don't know what to think of him |
Lonzo
KCP Ingram Lebron Lopez (possibly) Kuz/Hart/Lance/Javale They can match Randle. No cap space to sign anyone big. Would need to trade to make a huge upgrade. Looks like its set to me barring vet min guys in terms of getting impact players in the rotation. |
Dwight Howard going to sign with the Warriors..

So the Warriors/Lakers on opening night and Lakers/Celtics on Christmas. Anybody think the NBA knew this was coming?

I am serious. When he did get in to play I thought he played really well and was a great fit and energy guy for them. |
Reddick would actually be a really good signing. Might help Lebron get 1 game off the Warriors than 0

there was a rumor Lebron texted KD to come to LA. I think it was BS but this is still hilarious. |
Sign Boogie trade for Kwahi mmm mmm

Turned on espn the other day. First mistake.
Screamin A Smith was screaming at another brother about "PG-13". I be all like, wtf is that? Apparently that Shithead Paul George had a cute nickname too. According to win shares he's worth about 18M but gets 35M and a cute nickname. So stupid |

Evans meeting with the Lakers. Woj reporting Leonard to the Lakers likely gets done.
|
Why is it assumed that Kawhi would automatically be a good fit to play with LeBron in LA?
Kawhi seems like a head case who is sensitive to criticism. If he couldn’t handle the criticism/pressure from the likes of Tony Parker in small market San Antonio, how does he expect to handle the pressure from playing with LeBron (he can ask Kevin Love about LeBron’s “constructive feedback”) in LA? |
The NBA is a ****ing joke at this point. Gonna take another break from the league for a few seasons until this garbage of players purposely stacking on certain teams to ensure winning stops. Its devolved from a sport into a popularity contest.
|
Rondo signs with the Lakers. Now that is interesting because of him and Lebron's history.

I wouldn't move them into the favorites to win the title yet unless they add Leonard. And then, you have to see what they have to give up in order to get him.
If they can hang on to Kuzma, I'll feel a lot better. |

Rondo is a good signing dump that bum Ball. My only concern is they dont uave many shooters.
|
Randle to the Pelicans.
Probably means Boogie to LA. |
Lakers have a bunch of ball handlers and only 1 real shooter in kuzma and they might have to trade him if they want kawhi. Interesting moves.

Svi will come off the bench at the 10th man and a playoff legend will be born when he hits 5 threes in a game 7 vs the Warriors. |

Official 2018-2019 NBA Off Season Thread!!!
Quote:
Of course they all want to win. They’re athletes whose whole lives have been about getting to the point they’re at now. Once in a while stacking is fine. One last chance to get a ring or what-have-you. It’s always been like that, in every league. One more piece to push a team over the top. Now it’s the top players, in their primes, stacking themselves on a few teams. There is 0 disparity in the NBA. Makes the regular season pointless where teams mail it in before the first tip off is even thrown up. Any objective fan would have told you the finals would be GS - CLE before last season even started. Knowing the outcome of a season before it’s even played makes makes the league stale. Lakers favorites to win the title now?
Wow this thread became insufferable now that all these homers crawled out from under that fairweather fan rock they were hiding under. Can this thread go back to basketball talk from a month ago, please? |
Houston won’t be coming out the west. This was their year for everything to go right
