Speaking of the offseason, those kinds of threads are what makes this place great in the offseason. Other boards go completely stagnant at years end, and CP keeps on trucking with all sorts of shenanigans and cutting up. Whether folks like to admit it or not, Hootie is a big contributor in those types of threads. That's reason enough to bring him back.

Honest answer is this, and if it gets me banned so be it. I did have one account before this, but even that account was only active for a few months and I doubt anybody would recognize the name if I dropped it. I was a noob who mouthed off to the wrong mod and caught the ban hammer. It was the only time I've ever been banned from any forum. I learned from it, I'm back, and am hopefully here to stay this time.

lol....I'd rather not. I'm hoping that mod doesn't even remember the incident. I wouldn't say butthurt, though. I was on a mission to agitate him that night. I aimed multiple posts directly at him. If I was a mod who has contributed to the board for quite some time and some dude that had just joined was acting a fool towards me the way I was it would have gotten under my skin as well. I'm not saying I would have banned the dude, but I can see where the mod was coming from is all.

Hmm. I highly doubt it was me, but I remember that name. I didn't have any issues with you. I also doubt very much that you'll be banned again. The mods are pretty good about people coming back when they're contrite, apologetic for the issues they caused, and sincere in their post. You know, unlike Hoot.

It was me. I was already in a mood that night. I wasn't interested in taking shit from a n00b. I didn't even ban him. I completely wiped him from the database. Glad it worked out in the end.

It's incredibly difficult to accomplish.... of course, anyone who's ever been permabanned probably thinks it was random or a butthurt mod or something that was otherwise not their fault.... but, you first have to really ask for it, then keep at it for a while, then ask a few more times, and if you really keep at it for long enough....
