This type of triped up, forced shit-show is embarrassing.
I can see it now, team shitting the bed and the announcement will come to "ok be loud now". So dumb. How about the team just give the fans reason to fill the stadium and be loud because it's the thing to do. |

What an embarrassment.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was all being manipulated by the front office to sell those drastically overpriced seats in the club level. That, along with no playoff wins for 2 decades, is the reason Arrowhead isn’t what it was in the 90s.

Why should a Chief fan make fun of, ridicule other Chief fans for getting excited about supporting the Chiefs? WTF?:shake: that being said this loudest stadium record is BS. |

Arrowhead had a home field advantage in the 90s because tickets were cheaper, people were more well off than they are now so the stadium was legitimately packed and those who were showing up were out-and-out FOOTBALL blue collar fans who knew to be loud for entire defensive stands and shut up on offense. Tickets are too expensive and we're in an economic depression so you can't pack the stadium the same way. Most people now are yuppies / children of yuppies who don't know jack about the sport outside of "team that scores the most points wins" who think that being loud = screaming like a maniac at arbitrary points in the game rather than at a sustained loud as **** level for entire opposing offensive possessions. The Arrowhead of the 90s is DEAD and is never coming back despite the best efforts of uber-fans like X-Factor. |

Can't believe they paid GWR to come back out again. I believe it's $100 for them to come out every time. This shit is just gonna keep going and going because GWR is getting money and publicity for it. Arrowhead will win it again by a tenth of a point, then seahawks fans will do it again. Then again, seahawks just won a MFing Super Bowl so their fans may just say "**** it let em have it, it's the only thing of relevancy they're gonna win anyways"

Look back through this thread and recent comments. I always had all kind of Chief fans at my tailgates. Long timers, n00bs, Planeteers, Coalition, Warpaint, "yuppies", drunks, tetotalers, different races, economic backgrounds etc.etc. I don't think anyone should be dictating what a Chief fan looks like, what they should wear or how they should verbalize their passion for being a Chiefs fan. If your a Chiefs fan, your welcome to cheer right along with me. |

My point is XFactor's goal to win this stupid noise record is incredibly misguided because it relies solely on the premise that Chiefs' fans are the best in supporting their team to the point it actually influences games by virtue of Arrowhead's relatively recent history of the 90s... When the demographics of who actually goes to games is almost entirely different. |
The entire thing is laughably phony and it's only fitting that a dumbass "superfan" would be the ringleader.
|
Will there be meth?
|
By the time the Chiefs play the Patriots, we will most likely be 1-2.
Last year, it was easy to get up because we were winning... I doubt we can get that loud this year. |

X-Factor and Milkman! Yell louder dumbass! |

Cheering for the sake of some glee club pep rally is so ****ing contrived. |

I dont have a problem with being a "superfan" but for Gods sake get a new outfit... Ronald McDonald has more dignity than this guy.

the whole thing is just silly.
arrowhead of the day won't b e back until they win a playoff game. social event. sad but true. |
MNF will be pretty freaking loud-despite whatever our record will be. I doubt there will be more Pats fans than there were fader fans the last go around either.
They need to pass out thunder sticks and noise makers like the seahags did when they supposedly reclaimed it. |

Are they doing it for the spirit of Arrowhead or for the attention this time around?
I mean we stomped the Faders and beat the record last time-can it be any better than that? Brady will make it quiet if he picks the D apart. |
Gonna be pretty tough to get the crowd fired up while Brady is carving up our secondary.

What makes him particularly annoying is there is nothing clever or unique about his schtick. You described it perfectly. A homeless man that found a bag of old chiefs stuff and decided to wear it all at once. Give him a shopping cart and the outfit is complete. Homeless Factor. |

If fans want to make a difference...be as loud as they were during the actual play of the game.when the Chiefs faced the Pats back in the Bledsoe days and of the first 5 snaps the Pats took four false start penalties and called a timeout.
|
Win a ****ing playoff game and we will set the record

If the fans are anything like they where.. well.. any game after the Raiders game last year.. we are in trouble.
I was at the first preseason game and it was fan preseason too, crowd was sleeping. |
I think there's nearly an entire generation of Chiefs fan who has no idea how to cheer. primarily because of decades of shit.
there's thousands of former 'scream yourslef hoarse' fans out there that have just said '**** it', and stopped going. rightfully so, given the teams performance and the birth of cheap home theater experiences. |
Chiefs Kingdumb

You all are completely entitled to your opinions about me or for Guinness. As a Chiefs fan I hope Arrowhead reaches levels we have never heard on MNF against NE and their qb Marcia Brady and his bunch. As a fan that hasn't missed a game at Arrowhead since 1992, I so crave this. We are an enormous factor to opposing teams especially QB's. I was there all times Elway cried to refs. When Ryan Leaf's hot start came crashing down at Arrowhead and a career took 180 degree turn. And last year was awesome when players feed off our energy and made Pryor cry from all sacks and noise. I honestly don't care much about Guinness, its a business and all about money. But if it lights fire in new fans or reenergizes fire in old fans hearts, to make Arrowhead magical place that many of us have experienced on many occasions then so be it! And I like homeless Factor, nice job lmao. Yes I don't mind cause I personally help thousands of homeless, disabled kids, kids with illnesses cancer, etc, visit hospitals, schools, handicapped facilities and rest homes. None of these amazing, inspiring people call me Homeless Factor but hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion!!!!! So to the ship on your own beliefs!!!

Miss seeing you at the tailgates but the beach is almost as good as a tailgate at Arrowhead on game day. I'm all for bringing back the volume that we shared in the 90's and early 2000's. Any person cheering for the Chiefs is okay in my book. But, the loudest stadium record is not the best avenue to renew the passion. It's artificial. The passion needs to come from a genuine place in the Chief fan, not to beat some superficial record. Just my two cents. |
I used to give Ty, Tie, Tige a lot of shit too.
But I have learned that: He's a nice guy that enjoys what he does. I will never take issue with that. Popular choice or not. You GO Ty, Tie, Tige!!! |
