Sorry, you're wrong. I can name half a dozen guys who were more clutch than Sweeney, and contributed to WINS. It's all about wins. Putting a team on your back and WINNING.

I'd say Porter, Aikens, Beltran, Seitzer, Willie Wilson and Otis were all better clutch hitters and gamers than Sweeney.

If you hit .300 for a 100 loss team, it doesn't mean much.

This is a great example of how ned Yost doesn't use statistics to leverage advantages.

Righthanded hitters have a higher OPS this year against Crow than against Collins.

It's a small sample size, but Collins has LONG been tougher on RH hitters than LH.

They need to get a true LOOGY on this team, so Yost will stop (mis)using Collins in that role.
