I view Antonio Brown as a significant step above Maclin. Maclin's always injured, and that's why I wanted to get rid of him.

Sorry. Roethlisberger's been playing out of mind to begin the season since there really is no semblance of a running game at all in Pittsburgh. I value Antonio Brown for his consistent production (always guaranteed to get catches and yards). Torrey Smith might be an upgrade, but so is Big Ben over Cutler.

My bench is weak as ****. Schaub put up 33.4 points last week, and only expects to get better. If anyone has a need at QB, I could use a good RB in a bench slot. I may consider WR, but I'd expect a better WR than I would RB.

Sent you another offer before reading this. Understood on Brown, but if I'm moving for Roethlisberger, it makes sense for me to try to get Brown in the deal as well.

There are really only a few untouchables on my roster. If you're willing to move Brown with Ben, let me know what it will take.

If I can work Pestilence into the mix for a three-way deal, I can get Brady and you can get Roethlisberger.

I'm against trading Roethlisberger even though I'm getting a good deal for him just because the one position I want to improve is starting QB. Pest has been shopping around Brady to others (like the goddamned pimp he is), so I don't want to get caught with my pants down and miss out on Big Ben AND Brady.

Pest and I just consummated a trade thinking it would be official by kickoff tomorrow.

Apparently, when I reset the league due to the draft snafu, it reset some of the settings - one of them being a 48 hour waiting period for trades. I didn't notice this until now.

With that said, the waiting period has been changed back to last year's setting of 24 hours. I'll be forcing the trade through at 11:00 CST tomorrow morning unless I see a ton of vetoes on the league page or in this thread - not seeing any reason for that to happen.

The trade (for anyone who cares and doesn't want to check) is:

Pestilence gives up Tony Romo and Andrew Hawkins.

I've been playing fantasy football for years and never once vetoed a trade, not even as commissioner.

I added him in both leagues. I had Ponder in my other league but that douche got me 6 points and almost cost me the game last week. Weeden's schedule is WAY easier than Ponders for the rest of the year.
