Guys, I don't care. I love this team. They've battled and shown a ton of heart and grit. However Sunday goes, this season has been a great one.

I saw someone mention that on reddit today... and I'm sure it's why Allen started playing hero ball last weekend, plus the fake punt.

And it's a huge part of what makes playoff experience so special... do you panic and do something stupid, or do you continue doing what you've always done.

If Allen scored a TD playing hero ball when he ignored Diggs, it would have had almost the same amount of time left in the game as when the Bills went up 29-26 after his 4th and 13 TD in the 13 seconds game (a game where 26 more points would be scored despite there being less than two minutes left in the game).

Funnily enough, on Sunday we saw the alt universe where Allen underthrows Davis on 4th and 13 and the 13 seconds game ends with the victory formation on a 26-21 win..

Hell, that Christmas Day game was bad enough to really provide legit perspective. It’s amazing they have made it this far in the Playoffs considering what we saw just a month ago. Great season to make the Final Four. Would be epic if they can keep this going beyond the conference title game.

This. Absolutely. Just me, but any year we don’t win the Super Bowl with the best player to ever grace this earth is a lost season. And I think everyone at One Arrowhead Drive would say this, too. That’s the mindset and standard now.

It wasn't a lost season when Montana got his dick knocked in the dirt by the Giants, or when Brady went 10 years between Super Bowls.

Just enjoy it.

It absolutely is. And both those players would tell you that. It’s what makes them great. Mahomes said it himself a few years back. If you don’t win it all it’s a failed season. We’re not a poverty franchise anymore.

It's a fine mentality as a player or as part of the organization, but seems kind of shitty as a fan... each victory over the Bills has been amazing along with other playoff experiences and so forth.

Looking back in 20 years, I'll never think..... but, what if they had won them all...

The 13 second game tastes much better now that they won a Super Bowl since. But I couldn’t watch it again until after we won it all lol. It took away the luster until then for me.

In Montana’s case, those rough games against the Giants, Bears, and whoever else ultimately shortened his career. Thank goodness Brady had a 10 year drought. Lol
