I never hated McCluster. Just not worth what we gave up for him.

Didn’t Carl resign Jan 15, 2009 and Dexter was drafted 2010 draft? But Carl still drafted him. Carl had some kind of influence i’ll Give you that.

the biggest knock on Belcher was he didn't pop Pioli in the parking lot when he had the chance

ROFL
Ive learned over time we just completely disagree on this. I think the tirades are hilarious. Not in a bad way. Just in a way that I appreciate the passion but I just disagree.

Bring him in for a look.

chiefzilla1501 07-17-2018 03:53 PM

I didn't mind mccluster in a possession role. I thought he developed into a decent receiver. Granted, I'd rather have a bigger guy than him in that role. But I think he could have developed into a marginal underneath receiver. Ill never understand how anyone couldn't figure out by the end of his time in kc that he wasnt a gadget player and he wasn't a playmaker.

I always expected him to snap like a twig if he got hit hard.

Yeah he was better than ok. Top 2 in the league is a bit of a stretch though in my opinion.

Reid and Dorsey did. That’s why they let him go without a fight.

I remember getting into it with Tex over McCluster when he left. Tex was a huge Dex fan. Lol

And nevar forget it was McCluster Cassel was trying to hit when he threw the pick on the screen pass to the Chargers. So incredibly awful on so many levels.

I remember Shannon Sharpe carrying DC on his back down the field during the Monday Night Meltdown.

Or maybe it was at Denver that year that Sharpe made Carter his personal and permanent bitch...but either way, DC was simply never the same after getting Sharpe broke off in his ass.

Nope.

This is one of the times that phrase actually doesn't apply...

I think this is incorrect. Shannon Sharpe destroyed Glenn Cadrez when he played for us. Him and that shit **** coordinator Greg Robinson, whom Vermeil just couldn't fire until after it was too late.
