Conley is kind of terrible at the kind of routes that slots run though. He seems way more straight-ahead speed kind of guy. The guy who mentioned Chesson might be on to something though.

I wouldn’t mind another receiver from the draft in the 4th, especially as Reid seems to pretty much sit rookie receivers in year 1, but we probably need to consider a tight end in the 4th too and still need a guard/center type lineman. I’m not sure how I feel about 3 offensive picks, unless it’s all 4th and later and even then I’m not sure.

Draft Braxton Berrios from Miami.

He'll be available in the later rounds and can contribute on special teams as well.

I give Conley first crack. He's fast(4.38 40?), good hands, can play every WR position, and his size should create a good matchup.

Reid seems to live him too. Makes me think his lack of production was more about opportunity. Alex never looked to him.

I live him too - very sweet man!

Yeah he reminds me of Amandola tbh. I've got my eye on him and Trey Quinn If they can't get Keke Coutee. Though no doubt Big Bill might hoover up these white slot guys before we can even blink :D.

Well, he's not on the niceness level you are, but he's also no Belcher.

You would slide Watkins to the slot or Kelce with the possible signing of Watson

I still hope that Robinson will develop and push Conley for snaps.

Me as well! They both bring something different however, and we may not need Robinson's deep balls with Watkins and Hill out there. A big, tall WR similar to Kelce would be another route to go.

When listing all of the needs across this defense, it becomes pretty clear that a slot receiver is the very last thing on Brett Veach' mind... be it Reek, Kelce, or Chesson, we have multiple options for that spot

Other than LG, this offense is as loaded as it can get for 2018... this draft will be defense, Defense, DEFENSE

RunKC 03-21-2018 06:39 PM

Hell just rotate Kelce, Hill and Watkins out of the slot on every down. It will be a goddamn struggle for any team to cover that.

Also we did sign Daniel Braverman to a futures contract. He’s a nice quick white dude like Julian Edelman.

What about this Deiter kid we have on the practice squad. I saw a clip where he could be our slot with great hands. He doesn't drop anything.

Lets just combine those two and call him Dieter Braverman :D

He could be an amazing slot receiver and had 18 freaking touchdowns at Memphis last year.

That talent AND under a rookie deal.

Yes.

Cut DAT on June 1 for his roster spot.

Why would you or anyone "think" that?

The guy probably starts the year on the PUP.
