Come open one here. It's twice as big as the one in WSS and it's doing very well. I know two of the bars here would carry kegs of a local brewery. Rumor has it, the fly fishing is good around these parts.:D

oh man, that would be cool.

Yeah, I would definitely have to do a lot of research first. Big Timber isn't exactly loaded with customers. I have no idea what the draw would be like outside the city limits. It also has a lot of places a guy can get a beer for a small town.

How do you prepare your flies? Fried? Baked?

I leave the flies for Bwana. I mostly lure or bait fish. It's easier to drink beer.

That's a fact. It's a lot harder to drink beer slinging a fly line than sitting on the bank with a cooler next to you. :D I think you win!

I've (at least I don't think) I've ever met Bwana or seen a picture of him, but can't imagine him being "delicate" enough to fly fish 🤔

Hey on a side note, I was going through Big Stick last week and stopped into the Fort. I turned out to be an expensive stop. I saw a .357 I couldn't live without, a smith & Wesson Combat 66. They were a little proud of it, but I couldn't get it out of my head, so I ended up finding a better price and ordering it on-line in the 4 inch barrel.

LMAO

It's like a bull in a china shop, but I have figured out how to catch a lot of fish over the years. The only thing that has changed, is it's a bit harder to see that fine tippet line when threading the fly eyelet. :hmmm: I generally toss a few pair of dollar store cheaters in the old fly vest these days.

My last job was closer to a dream job, but the company cared far more about their stock price than employees.... plus, it was a lot of travel (perfect at the time), which I didn't want to do forever.

Current job isn't stuff dreams are made of, but couldn't ask for a better location or better people, so it's worth the trade off.
