I'm sure we all thought Chris Jones was going to play a ton as a rookie as a 2nd round pick too.

We're gonna love this guy.

Don't know if I'm missing something but, doesn't look all that spectacular. Looks like management thinks we don't need any immediate help. I would have expected someone who would not be a project.

+1

DE TANOH KPASSAGNON, Villanova: Kpassagnon is a huge dude (6-7, 289) who has the look of a five-technique in 3-4. I was impressed by his athleticism and length. He explodes off the snap, he plays hard and was a team captain. I’m in.

Grade: 6.7

Forgive my stupid question...what's a 5-technique in a 3-4? DE or OLB?

Maybe he's going to take over for Hali?

Kpassagnon said he feels he's better off the edge and played in a 3-4 in college.

Terez Paylor loves him

That's exactly why they drafted him.

DE in a 3-4

Left DE is on the edge
Right DE is inside the ROLB(Hali)

If he's that big but still has a quick first step, could work.

Rush the passer but still set the edge.

Just don't ever be reeruned and try to have him in coverage then.

Actually pretty drunk also. But not to the point I can't see my spelling mistakes... but I'm close, so be prepared!

Not a stupid question at all. Glad you have the stones to ask. It can spark legit football discussion. Keep em coming :thumb:

Fits right in with Dorsey 's draft tendency. Get the freakish athletic talent you can't teach and trust in Reid's staff to coach them up whether it's character concerns (Hill, Kelce, Peters....) or molding raw talent that needs polishing (Mahomes, Jones, Ford, Fisher...).

As I said before Dorsey usually goes for the athletic boom or bust types

I agree. What I meant was his play was underwhelming. What's he do against SEC talent? Like I said, I don't know shit. I hope he pans out. Seems like a reach to me.

One of the vids shows him against South Dakota State, which at the time, was #8 in the country.

One thing I noticed in both vids is that he's pretty consistently double-teamed and he moves more like a LB than a DE.

So he would play Hali's position?
