Its surely been posted already, but is worth repeating for my own guilty pleasure...
First heard this song while driving down the road at work in the complete middle of nowhere on AM radio somewhere around 1995... love the subdued horns version, they're integral to it yet I cant find that version online Oh well, still a great song <iframe frameborder="0" width="480" height="270" src="//www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/xpvsge" allowfullscreen></iframe><br /><a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xpvsge_neil-diamond-solitary-man-1966_music" target="_blank">Neil Diamond - Solitary Man (1966)</a> <i>by <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/superman06" target="_blank">superman06</a></i> |

The last CP Bash we attended at Nzoner's, Neil Sedaka's Bitch is Back was one of the songs on the playlist (I don't know why ask Nzoner) and I knew the whole song although it's not one of my faves.
Sedaka's "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" was a double hit for him, I learned the original version as a little kid and he came out with a remake in the late 70's(?). I'll sing along with both but the original is my fave. |

Re: the OP
Watching some of these clips gives me a good idea how the temperature is measured. |
