Wow...the Panthers got the shaft in this game.

There were 4 plays that the refs used to control the outcome...#1. Ruling the 1st quarter catch was incomplete...kept Carolina from gaining momentum early. #2. They picked up a defensive penalty with no explanation on a 3rd down play...which killed a drive deep in Broncos territory. #3. They ignored Talib's offsides..which would have forced a rekick. #4 Ignored an obvious PI call on another 3rd down play deep in Denver territory.

Denver was not flagged in the 2nd half.

Carolina seemed to be consistently pissed at the officiating...Denver never had to break a sweat.

Yep. For whatever reason, all that did indeed happen. And I'm not the least bit surprised...:hmmm:

Refs are human and can show bias but definetly not rigged. You are blind if you don't think Denver got got the benefit of the officiating that game. That being said their D came to play and was the reason they won that game.

I assume you are talking about the incomplete pass where the ball appeared may have touched the ground and the receiver didn't have control of the ball. Not exactly sure why people are so up in arms about that call "standing."

Looked like it was under control when it hit the ground to me. That is a catch.

I wouldn't say it's full on rigged, but I do believe the league tells its refs to be more favorable with calls to some teams over other teams.

You really think every call goes against a certain team? You are dumb as ****.

What part of "more favorable" does your dumbass not understand?

Buzz 02-07-2016 10:17 PM

To say it's rigged is BS, players still have to make plays.

How you can say that ball was in any way under control is beyond me. The whole time he's rolling over the ball is moving. The only way that ball is a catch is if it never hit the ground and on initial contact with the ground it appeared it may have.

I suggest another visit to the review booth for you.

The game was not called the same way, that's for sure. Carolina sure got called for illegal contact in the end zone that lead to a TD, yet no such call went Carolina's way and they had to settle for a FG. Also, no unsportsman like penalty against Denver for numerous celebrations and Carolina gets called for one when Sanders is celebrating a catch in the DB's face.

Its almost like the refs were controlling the game, but I know that couldn't have been the case because everything is so legit in the NFL...

So I guess Talib didn't get called for taunting.

Most everyone thought it was a catch including BOTH announcers and the ref on the phone. All said it would be a reversal. I suggest that YOU take another said visit to the replay booth. :shake:

I want to see a replay, but I didn't think it ever hit the ground. It was bouncing around a lot, but when the play was done and Von Miller had put his knife back in his sock, the receiver had the ball in his hands and it had never touched dirt. That's by definition a catch.

The ref on the phone had been wrong 90 percent of the time this year it seems

kcpasco 02-07-2016 10:26 PM

If it was called a catch would it have been reversed?
