Grandpa bought it new. Dad got it in mid-80s. I drove it through HS until my Nova was street ready. Dad still drives it regularly. Even though he was an '84 as well, the '72 is more reliable and a better workhorse.

This drives me crazy. People have gotten lazy with the English language. I think I first noticed it maybe 15 years ago. People in tv and movies would say let's get in the car when they were driving an SUV or truck. I guess I've eased a bit over the years and can live with calling an SUV a car, but a truck is not a car and a car is not a truck. |
