Cards fans have never seen anything other than fair weather ...
I suspect, like any fan base in baseball (see the Yankees), if their team starts to suck for a prolonged period of time ... attendance would drop ... interest would drop that is just kind of common sense ... was Jack Nicholson at many Lakers games this year? (he might have been) |

Man, I would love to be out there for one or more games this weekend. But I'm not paying $50+ for nosebleed seats.

Well Phillips kind of has to talk crap off the field because he can't beat the the Cards on the field.

Cubs are my NL team ... can't watch them anymore since I don't have cable, though. Sucks, too ... since that team is fun to watch now with Rizzo and Bryant.
|
I really hate the Cardinals, though ... because everyone around here are Cards fans and Packers fans in Champaign, IL. Pick a ****ing region losers.
|
actually the biggest Cards fan I know who has lived in Urbana his whole life is a Cards fan and a Patriots fan ... you know, because he likes Michigan ... and Tom Brady went to Michigan. Yeah!

To be fair Hootie, most of my diehard Royals fan friends were Redsox fans up until last October.
