Spartan, buy a very hearty car. Was still running in the mid-90s. Now it's in the back of dad's garage waiting on a fix-up. |

Is it weird that I can still tell the '70, '71, and '72 apart just by the signal lights? I had a '71 MC a long time ago. It was worn right the **** out before I bought it, but I loved that car. Regarding the ugliest beasts, I came here specifically to accuse the Aztec, but it seems there are many that have come after it and equaled its craptitude. |

Yea I'm not getting the hate for the ranchero or El Camino. |

Aztek should have been #1 by a mile, IMO. EDIT: That was the dumbest 1-4 imaginable. |
Growing up the get off my lawn old man had Rambler Ambassador and American that were butt ugly.
Vega and pinto were ugly. Plymouth Fury III next door neighbor had. That sucker was ugly but could scream. Dad had a Ford Torino not the fastback. And a Mercury Montego in light beige that was flat out silly looking. |

He had one Rambler after another when I was a kid, later a Torino, and a Montego, too. :spock: |

Still trying to figure out why the BMWs were on this list.

Dad actually bought Mom a Ford Anglia he called it the Damn English Ford. He got it as a grocery getter and it was the biggest piece of crap ever. He sold that thing in less than a year to some poor sap. |

It's an ugly car. There is no harmony in the line, particularly on the rear end, where the deck and brake light make a hard, high line that takes away from the visual aesthetic. Like a lot of BMW's, in about 5 years, it's going to look extremely dated. |
