Congrats, try to survive the first 2 years. Soon you'll be numb to the sound of screaming and loud crying. Comfortably numb

Congrats man. My wife just gave birth to twins (boy and girl) in Jan. Changes your life for sure.

Oh you're in for hell. :D

My twins are 4 years old.

The best line I've heard about being a parent is that it's a hundred times harder than you ever thought it would be, but a thousand times more rewarding than you ever dreamed it could be. Congratulations.

It's the truth. The wife got a new job where she travels 50% of the time....so there are 1 to 2 week periods where I'm stuck at home with two 4 year old girls and an 8 year old girl. Rough as hell....but definitely worth the reward of getting hugs and kisses every night. Plus one of the twins LOVES to sit and watch me play video games.

Rausch 04-30-2015 10:08 AM

Congrats.

Also explains why you were so ****ing catty in the prank call thread...

At least one of them gets it. :D

My daughter is 19 now and wrapping up her freshman year in college. She plays volleyball for her school, and traveled about an hour and a half outside of KC to play a scrimmage tournament a couple of weeks ago. I got the day off and surprised her by showing up. She came running up to me with tears in her eyes when she saw me (she had been having a really stressful week in school) and hugged me like she was years old again. Nothing beats that feeling, ever, and it will never ever get old.

Iowanian 04-30-2015 10:18 AM

Congrats.

Do him a favor and encourage him to pick winners to cheer for, it will save him more pain than a rusty spoon circ....

This is awesome. I only have one son, so not familiar with girls, but this time you're getting with them now is invaluable to all of you.

My son's mom and I split before my son was a yr old. I had him almost every weekend. I didn't date for 7 years. I don't regret that for a second. He's 16 now and a chip off the ol block. Nothing better than being a dad.

This is weird because it's not really funny nor is it much of a troll.
