I've seen him twice, and while he is a great musician and performer, anyone going to hear all his hits will be disappointed. He just doesn't do them, or he just does snips as part of a medley. And he spends an inordinate amount of time letting his band jam or do solos.

I'm just going to leave another one here.

I love her Irish lilt.

i guess we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. Ever since i heard that one song (that loochy refers to in post #62), i never wanted to hear another one.

Furthermore, if that song comes on the radio...it's light speed to the dial to change as quick as humanly possible.

Wallflowers or Cranberries?

Is Death an option?

Oh ya, and there is this....

Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries Causes Disturbance on Plane

It was a bumpy ride for The Cranberries lead singer Dolores O'Riordan on Monday.

While aboard an international flight, the Irish singer reportedly caused a major disturbance.

According to the BBC, O'Riordan had a run-in with an air hostess, which resulted in her arrest.

A Shannon Airport spokesperson confirmed to PEOPLE that there was "an incident on board the daily morning Aer Lingus service from New York to Shannon on its arrival at Shannon. The matter is now being dealt with by An Garda Síochána [Irish Police]."

Following the incident, O'Riordan, 43, was reportedly taken to a local hospital where she received treatment before being released into police custody.

Prior to the flight taking off, one passenger noticed that O'Riordan was exhibiting strange behavior.

"So Dolores 'Cranberry' O'Riordan just boarded our JFK/SNN flight wearing red & black Superhero mask…#strange," passenger Pat Carroll Tweeted.

As for the cause of O'Riordan's behavior, the singer has not yet issued a statement.

I never cared for the Cranberries. Their biggest "hit" song sounded like Smashing Pumpkins with a female yodeler and I couldn't stand their other music.

To each his own, I guess.

This isn't close. The Wallflowers are a one-hit wonder band formed as a vanity project for a significantly-less-talented rock offspring.

I could not disagree more. And they've had far more than just one "hit".

Bearcat 11-11-2014 03:11 PM

I like The Wallflowers... maybe ~15 songs on the iPod.

6th Avenue Hearbreak
, One Head Light, The Difference, and so on.

The band was hardly a "glamour project", as they'd been around in LA for six years before they were signed. Their music continues to be used in major commercials (Big money), film and TV.

Don't know if there's ever been a 56yo in history so on top of his game. He even looks mid-30s at most.

It's on my DVR but I haven't had time to watch it.

He's an amazing artist and performer.

Meh.

The only song i ever remember from The Wallflowers was "One-Headlight".

My wife likes The Cranberries and i once saw a really hot stripper dance to "Miss you when you're gone" and it was absolutely mesmerizing.

Sooo..... +1 for Cranberries.
