Weis for AD. Could he do any worse than what they have?

I doubt the guy works the rest of the year and just sits on his stack of cash rolling in, but I could see him working with Reid in some consultant capacity if he had the itch.

Didn't Weis have a falling out with McDaniels? I doubt he goes back to New England.

Yeah, I was walking around the club level and came around a curve and nearly leveled him. It took me a minute to figure out who it was, out of context and all.

He was also arrested for indecent exposure for unwrapping his Baby Jay and whizzing in the fountains at Crown Center!

I wonder what Bob Davis is going to say about all this?

The whole country laughed when he was hired, and he has kept everyone laughing the whole time. Nice work Cholly, you'll be a tough act to follow.

Jaynes was the top QB recruit in the country and originally signed with Bear Bryant. I suspect if he pissed in a Tuscaloosa fountain, hordes of those crazies would jump in and splash it on their foreheads like holy water.

So is weis at Waldo pizza right now telling everyone it's haleys fault

Deberg_1990 09-28-2014 11:25 AM

He's a bum. Owes his entire career to Tom Brady and Brady Quinn

He was also the very first draft pick in the World Football League.

Why was he hired in the first place?

I know money talks, but I would never jump ship from pros to college, especially in this day and age when the college guys are getting hired and fired as seemingly often as the pro guys are.

Doomed from the start. Pro style offenses don't work in college unless there is elite talent.

The search committee idea seemed to work out pretty well for KU's basketball team in 2003.

New coach must be under two balloons. No more fat ass coaches please.

Mangino's team in 2007 went 12-1 and went to the Orange Bowl. If they hire a fat ass coach and he does that, it's OK with me.
