Sounds like you could go into any field of work! Try to be open other possibilities work wise.

You already have an advantage having family there who know people. You'll get a job if you keep at it. Re-up on your workouts, make a plan to move, and hope the chicks in SC are as hot as the chicks in SD.

I live in alaska and live as cheap as possible while saving money and benefitting from the higher wages, I will move to a state with a low cost of living to stretch my dollar even further. I love oil companies.

Would seem easy to me. Find an innovative place to rent. There are tons of good deals out there, even in California. My buddy in LA rents s "room" in a house where the guy is out of town 80% of the time, and part of the reason its so cheap is so he gets free house sitting.
