Funny how people said we couldn't take a QB because we needed an impact player in R1 because of the lack of picks...

Meanwhile, we take a guy who might be on the field for 30% of defensive snaps - and that's if he stays healthy.

Other teams drafting for need and filling holes.

Chiefs reach for a situational/BU player...

LeBron is happy as shit. Johnny Football might buy his old house in Cleveland .

It's going to be fun tomorrow watching talent get snatched up right and left while we don't have a pick until the end of the third.

But you can sleep well knowing kc used the missing pick on its franchise qb.

I think everyone remembers the meltdown and tantrums with the Poe pick !

The Poe pick was a great pick.

The Ford pick isn't.

Every year I think it'll be different but...nope.

This draft is full of talent through round 7. In fact, there will be 100 or so guys that are UDFA that would likely be drafted in any other year. I wish we had a 2nd, but we'll still get plenty of talent.

Let him be a subpackage rusher next year, then transition

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-08-2014 09:24 PM

The Ford pick is not a disaster, but it's definitely a WTF moment. More than anything, it shows how absolutely full of shit Dorsey's "BPA" philosophy is. Eric Fisher and Dee Ford.

Yeah, I'm going to sleep great knowing we're going to give the money we should be paying Berry or Houston to a 30 year old cast off.

We were in subsets like 70% last year

ping2000 05-08-2014 09:25 PM

The Chiefs must rip out and throw away the first ten pages of all the draft guides before they build their draft board. Why don't we draft first round talent in the first round. We always reach or pick some guy that needs to switch positions. **** these project guys.

tecumseh 05-08-2014 09:26 PM

I give the pick a "C".
