I did consider the MBA at Rockhurst.. As well as taking classes to get a grad certificate whilst looking for jobs.

If you're going to spend the dough and time, an MBA is the ticket, IMO.

Good luck either way.

I once went to a basketball game at UMKC campus. If you want to be safe don't drive there.

When I was at UMKC I was mainly at hospital hill, but I spend a good amount of time at the volker campus. Basically, anything west of troost was the theme for housing. They are doing more and more rehab and development down there, but I would still follow the troost rule.

Thanks.

Though I've been lead to believe that MBAs for people in my position are not a good idea because they're becoming over-saturated in addition to people earning them with little to no work experience.

Another issue: I currently possess a geriatric cat.

Now this issue might resolve itself as I'm not sure it could survive a three hour car ride.

Then probably Westport area. I think that's where a lot of KC's gay population lives.

Seriously though, UMKC must have some office that assists with housing & shit for out-of-towners. They probably have a list of all the apts and rents in the area and the areas you want to stay away from.

Cat ownership != homosexual lifestyle.

Anyway, the link Fish posted earlier was for the benefit of international students. Now, I know I'm from the SWMO and we're a little different down here, but it's a stretch to call us foreigners.

Bob Dole drove there 4 days a week for 2 years without any issues.
